Codes the makers print for LR44

Energizer’s A76 and Duracell’s 76A both carry the LR44 designation. Between them, their datasheets print these codes: 1166A, 76A, A76, AG1, EPX76. Each one is listed below with the sheet it comes from.

Duracell’s sheet includes AG1 among the codes it replaces. We show it as printed. AG13, the code often searched for alongside LR44, isn’t printed on any maker datasheet or cross-reference page this site cites.

LR44 vs 357 / 303 (SR44)

On the datasheets the 357 and 303 have the LR44’s diameter and height, but they are silver oxide cells rated 1.55 V, where the LR44 is alkaline manganese dioxide at 1.50 V. None of the LR44 sheets we checked lists 357, 303 or SR44 as a code it replaces, and none of the 357 / 303 sheets lists LR44. If your device’s manual names one of them, use that one.
